Granules are very varied enamel compositions that are compacted by atomization in a rounded shape. ESMALTES has a wide range of granules of very different chemical composition, melting range and granulometry.
The main advantages of the use of these granules with respect to granules are:
– Absence of infused particles as can happen in granules. – Spherical geometric shape of the granules as opposed to the irregular shape of granules, which translates into better fluidity at the time of application, both dry and wet. – Mass coloring of the granules as opposed to the coloring of the granules by means of external coating.
Within this range of products we have the following families:
Large granulometry. We have more than 20 different references so that an infinite number of combinations can be made to obtain material surfaces through the application of these dry mixtures.
Granulometric range (mm): 1.0-0.75.
TYPES:
– Matte and gloss (transparent and opaque)
– Mass colored (8 colors)
– Metallic (silver and gold)
– Lustres (white and gold)
Intermediate granulometry. Allows both dry and wet application. We have a wide range of melting temperature ranges for use in porous single-firing, stoneware and porcelain stoneware.
Granulometric range (mm): 0.45-0.35
TYPES:
– Matt and gloss (transparent and opaque).
– Mass colored (8 colors)
– Metallic (silver and gold)
– Lustres (white and gold)
– Reactive (HF)
Smaller granulometry. They allow both dry and wet application, especially airless application. The wide variety available in terms of firing range makes them applicable in different technologies, from rapid double firing to porcelain stoneware.
Granulometric range (mm): 0.207-0.08
TYPES:
– Matt and gloss (transparent and opaque)
– Mass colored (8 colors)
– Metallic (silver and gold)
– Lustres (white and gold)
– Reactive (HF)
